Jeffery Nemeth, the president of Ford Lio Ho (Taiwan), has been appointed president and chief executive of the Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa from the beginning of January. He will replace Hal Feder, the current president and chief executive. John Parker, Ford's executive vice-president for Asia Pacific and Africa, said Nemeth would be responsible for directing day-to-day operations of manufacturing sites in Port Elizabeth and Pretoria. - Roy Cokayne
