Beige: Units hurt by poor trading  Comments
November 3, 2009

By Thabiso Mochiko

Beige's earnings for the six months to September declined by 45 percent to R8.7 million, the cosmetics firm said yesterday. Turnover fell to R279m from R304m last year. The group manufactures and distributes products such as Lux soap. It said most of its 13 operating units had performed worse than the prior year as a result of the difficult trading conditions. - Thabiso Mochiko
