Oil drops by over $1 per barrel
July 29, 2009

Singapore - US oil prices fell by more than $1 a barrel on Wednesday, extending losses from the retreat the day before, on renewed worries over the US economy after a drop in consumer confidence and bearish API crude data.

By 8.31am (0631 GMT), crude was down $1.08 at $66.15 a barrel.
