Daihatsu to trim production, salaries March 17, 2009
Daihatsu will cut employees' salaries during the closure of two plants in March as it reduces production of vehicles targeted towards overseas markets.
Spokesperson Emi Yoshino said on Monday the automaker would close its factories in Osaka and Kyoto for four days. - Bloomberg
